About The Incredible Playable Show
A live interactive stage show where everybody in the room gets to be a part of the action. Audience members can take to the stage to become human buttons, zap each other with barcode scanners and shout very loudly at classic video games.
Each show comprises of multiple games custom-made for the stage or with specially-made custom controllers. In one game, brave volunteers wear WiFi-connected power belts to become super sentai heroes, while in another players must clamber through the crowd scanning barcodes attached to members of the audience. The audience co-operates to crack codes, find giant inflatables and become human obstacles.
Fronted by the Incredible Playable Host, the show takes inspiration from clowning and improv comedy. Unlike traditional stage shows, the focus is firmly on the audience themselves, with the games providing an opportunity for the public to perform and express themselves. Unlike traditional videogames, each act is created to involve big crowds, either as players, parts of a controller, or as human obstacles. The vision is that everybody in the room gets to help make each performance unique.
